Joe Ying, Director, Investment Promotion Bureau, Changshu EDZ
With more than 13 years of experience in the field of investment promotion business, Joe has participated in the negotiation and service of over 110 Foreign Direct Investment projects, of which included 20 independent promotion of FDI projects. Joe is specialised in potential investment intelligence capture, due diligence of investors, business negotiation, execution of investment agreement including but not limited to the leasing contract, and incorporation of foreign-invested corporates. In addition, he supports land bidding and purchasing projects, facilitates approval of FDI projects, and recruitment of new foreign-invested enterprises within CEDZ.
Fabio Stella, China Associate Director, Hawksford
Fabio graduated in International Law, business and politics before moving to China in 2012 for a course on Intellectual Property (IP) and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) at Peking University. He started his career at the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce where he also acted as Board Director for two terms between 2017 and 2020. Part of Hawksford pool of professionals since 2013, Fabio now heads China's Business Development activities while acting as Financial Responsible Person & Company Supervisor for several Chinese subsidiaries of Global Retail clients.
Mario Bock, Plant Director, Hörmann Changshu Door Production
As a Plant Director, Mario now runs the newest Hörmann Factory plant Changshu, serving the region around Shanghai and South China. His daily target is to bring together the Chinese speed with the great Hörmann Quality. Mario relocated to China in 2007 and started at a German Clean Room equipment manufacturer. After 5 years, Mario joined Hörmann Beijing Door Production, which was the first footprint of Hörmann in China. Mario has extensive experience and skills in sheet metal fabrication, joining technologies, assembly, powder coating from one piece to batch production, which enables himself and his team to safe and perfect production.
Simon Harvey, Managing Director, Nylacast Automotive
Simon joined Nylacast Automotive in 2016 as Managing Director and in this role, he leads a highly skilled International team of over 250 personnel and oversees global manufacturing operations, technical centres, and commercial functions.
He began his Automotive career in 1983 and has over 25 years’ experience within the Tier 1 supply base serving in various positions of increasing responsibility including Application Engineering, Technical Sales, Manufacturing Operations, Commercial, Business Development, and General Management. Over the past 10 years, he has worked at Board level with P&L responsibility. Prior to joining Nylacast, Simon worked with GKN, Metaldyne (now American Axle), Pechiney (now Rio Tinto), and SKF.

Admin Committee of Changshu Economic & Technological Development Zone is most often a government agency (or occasionally a non-profit organization functioning similar to a chamber of commerce or business consulting corporation) whose mission is to attract investment to Changshu ETDZ.
