Hawksford has appointed Dale Walton as Chief Technology Officer, as the firm continues to focus on developing market-leading infrastructure to support its global growth strategy.
In his new role, Dale will oversee Hawksford’s Operations Centre, with responsibility for the development and delivery of technology infrastructure, cybersecurity and IT solutions that support seamless integration across the firm’s growing global footprint.
Based in the UK, Dale will work alongside Director of Change Samantha Akomeah, who joined Hawksford in 2024, with both reporting to Matthew Wilkinson, Chief Integration Officer, who has group management responsibility for Hawksford’s technology, integration and transformation agenda. Together, their roles reinforce Hawksford’s commitment to investing in its people, technology and innovation.
In particular, Dale’s appointment comes as Hawksford continues to enhance technology and streamline infrastructure across the Group during a period of sustained and significant growth. Since 2022, the business has successfully completed nine acquisitions.
With over 30 years’ experience in information technology, Dale has previously held various senior roles with a Dublin-based managed service provider. Most recently he was Head of Digital Technology Services, leading a large team of consultants, guiding clients through their digital transformation journeys and delivering strategic technology solutions.
With extensive knowledge in operations and technical delivery, Dale has acted as the technical lead on many enterprise migration projects across multiple industries. He is also a keen hiker and has trekked to Everest Base Camp and completed the Three Peaks Challenge, with plans to trek the Great Wall of China and Mount Kilimanjaro.
