Client objective
Snibe were very proactive in identifying markets they would like to expand into, and wanted to move quickly to establish themselves within them.
They had certain preferences regarding company set-up and operations – for example, entities in new jurisdictions should allow for 100% foreign ownership.
In 2024 and 2025, the company decided to establish a presence in South Korea, Bangladesh and Peru. Each country presented distinct challenges, and Snibe found managing different legal systems, compliance standards and local processes to be complex and resource intensive.
For example, in South Korea, language and cultural barriers made incorporation and regulatory navigation challenging. In Bangladesh, the capital account opening was problematic due to stringent banking procedures and limited responsiveness from local institutions. In Peru, Snibe faced a governance issue when their appointed legal representative became uncooperative, obstructing access to corporate functions and delaying filings.
With all of these issues happening around the same time, Snibe realised they needed one reliable partner capable of providing coordinated, corporate services across these jurisdictions to help ease the administrative burden.
Our solution
Managing multiple concurrent projects across borders can be challenging, but it’s an area that we specialise in.
Our integrated approach enabled us to deliver tailored solutions to meet Snibe’s requirements across the new markets, all overseen by one dedicated point of contact.
In South Korea, we managed the full incorporation process and now provide ongoing tax and accounting services, ensuring seamless local compliance. In Bangladesh, our team worked closely with Snibe and ensured successful completion of capital account set-up, despite local delays.
In Peru, Hawksford acted swiftly to remove Snide’s legal representative and appointed a new nominee director, restoring corporate governance and operational control.
Working closely with us removed the challenges associated with managing multiple providers. Our ability to coordinate across jurisdictions, through a single point of contact, allowed Snibe to focus on business growth, while we ensured compliance and continuity.

“The Asian market is a key region for Snibe’s overseas business expansion, with South Korea being a critical target for our future development in advanced Asian markets. As part of our broader global expansion, including into Bangladesh and Peru, Hawksford assisted Snibe in establishing the business entity for our South Korean subsidiary, navigating the local challenges we faced. They now continue to manage ongoing business maintenance, accounting and tax filing services.”
