Empowering each other

We embrace a collaborative coaching culture, where people are supported on their development journey. Everyone is encouraged to have regular one-to-one conversations with their manager, providing a space to openly discuss career aspirations and developmental needs. Subject matter experts are encouraged to share knowledge and are supported with this. We also have a dedicated People Development Manager, who is always on hand to offer advice on your personal development.

A wealth of learning content

‘Thrive’ is our dedicated learning management system, housing more than 500 engaging eLearning courses, videos and podcasts, sourced from a range of external providers and internal subject-matter-experts. This system allows our employees to take a flexible, self-led approach to their own development; learning what they want, at a time that suits them.   

Progress with purpose

Our competencies and values framework allows employees to map themselves against their current level and determine the skills and competencies that need to be developed for them to progress. Alternatively, we support lateral moves for employees looking to broaden or change their career path. The career planning process is underpinned by our comprehensive performance cycle of objective setting, continuous feedback and end of year reviews.   

Learn to lead

At Hawksford, we empower our managers and leaders to unlock their full potential through a comprehensive suite of learning solutions. Our bespoke program, 'Leading Beyond Tomorrow,' offers a series of dynamic and interactive sessions (available both online and in person) that foster global connections among our leaders. It equips them with the knowledge, strategies, and tools needed to excel in their roles. Additionally, we offer subscriptions to the online World Class Manager Programme, enabling managers to progress through self-led learning at their preferred pace.
