Hawksford bolsters Cayman team with Chief Operating Officer appointment

Global service provider Hawksford has appointed Tamara Hill as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the Cayman Islands, as the firm looks to continue to build out its operation in the jurisdiction in line with its global growth strategy.

In her new role,  Tamara will play a pivotal role in driving Hawksford’s success in the jurisdiction and globally, working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm’s multijurisdictional network. She will have a particular focus on optimising processes, improving efficiency and implementing best practices to enhance the firm’s overall performance in the Cayman Islands, and ensure the highest standards of client service.

With a career in international financial services spanning more than 20 years, Tamara has deep knowledge across the corporate, funds and private client services landscape, with specialist expertise in operations, governance and business strategy. She has worked extensively in leading dynamic teams specialising in regulatory compliance services and the formation and administration of alternative funds and private wealth vehicles across multiple jurisdictions. She has also previously served on the boards of numerous special purpose vehicles (SPVs).

Having held a number of senior positions at international service providers in Cayman over the past decade, where she had direct input into strategic planning and performance, Tamara joins Hawksford having most recently held a client service director role at another global provider, where she was responsible for fostering strong client relationships. She holds an MBA and is a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Hawksford established its operation in Cayman last year, following its acquisition of Paradigm Governance Partners. From its Cayman office, Hawksford provides high touch boutique fiduciary services to investment fund managers, including independent directorship, distressed fund and value recovery, outsourced accounting, family office operational support, anti-money laundering, economic substance, and ancillary services.

Globally, the group is a provider of corporate, private client and funds services with more than 650 people in key locations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas, supporting clients in more than 115 countries.
