Hawksford Jersey has rounded off a successful 2017 with 21 promotions while recording a 18% year-on-year increase in new business revenue.
“2017 was a pivotal year for Hawksford, it signalled the start of an ambitious new chapter”, explained Michel van Leeuwen, Chief Executive Officer of Hawksford, who joined the company in November 2016. ‘The leadership has been focused on delivering successful business performance and the result is evident in the new business figures across each of our core business lines, particularly corporate services.”
The 21 promotions are across Corporate Services, Private Client, Fund administration and the business support teams. It represents the largest round of promotions in five years and highlights Hawksford’s commitment to investing in staff and their career development. In addition, 20 employees completed professional qualifications in 2017.

2017 was also a notable year for the company as it launched its refreshed brand and invested heavily in technology applications to the benefit of clients and staff, such as fund administration platform eFront, and automated workflow upgrades to ensure a seamless working environment across the entire business.
“We are focused on building on the success of 2017. Continued investment in our staff and recruiting even more talent into the business, will be key to this" added Michel.
