Local trust company, Hawksford, has been crowned Trust Company of the Year (Non Institutional) at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards.

Now in their ninth year, the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards have become an established event in the wealth calendar and one at which Hawksford has enjoyed past success; in 2011 Hawksford won the Independent Trust Company of the Year category.

Hawksford has been successful in a number of high profile awards in recent years, including its recent shortlisting for Trust Company of the Year in Citywealth's International Financial Centres Awards 2014. Hawksford was crowned Owner-Managed Trust Company of the Year 2012/2013 at the STEP Private Client Awards and won the same award in 2010/2011. In 2011 Hawksford was recognised as Independent Trust Company of the Year at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards, was shortlisted for the same accolade again in 2012 and was runner up in 2013. Hawksford was recognised in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 by Private Client Practitioner, as a Top 25 Trust Company in its annual listing. In 2013, Julian Hayden, director of Hawksford, was named Trustee of the Year at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards.
The awards ceremony was held at the Grange Hotel St Pauls in London on Thursday 8th May, bringing together the elite of advisers in the wealth industry, philanthropists and members of Citywealth's ultra high net worth readership.
