Responsibilities
Sam joined Hawksford in 2017 and immediately re-engineered and strengthened our periodic review programme, including evolving and ensuring targeted and effective reporting and management information across the business.
Sam has years of proven experience in both re-engineering and managing periodic review programmes, and her team are key in providing assurance that the business is compliant with all regulatory and legislative risk expectations.
Sam is also responsible for training staff in risk awareness, risk management and mitigation, while helping to promote a positive compliance culture across the business.
Before joining Hawksford, Sam held key roles in Jersey’s finance industry, including regulatory approved Compliance Officer, MLCO and MLRO positions. She now has the group wide responsibility for ensuring the Hawksford can effectively recognise and manage client risk, as well as managing the periodic review processes across all offices and jurisdictions.

- Received the Insinger de Beaufort Trophy for top student in the Introduction to the Regulatory Environment module of the Certificate in Offshore Administration
- Wrote and marked COA Regulatory Environment examination papers
