Responsibilities

Laura is Managing Director – Private Client and Family Office at Hawksford in Jersey, with more than 23 years’ experience in financial services. She specialises in complex private wealth structuring for UHNW families, with a particular focus on asset protection, succession planning, private trust companies, family governance and the long-term stewardship of international assets.

Her experience includes acting as a director and trustee on sophisticated family office and private client structures holding a wide range of asset classes, including family businesses, residential and commercial property, yachts, hotels, private market investments, digital assets, venture capital and professionally managed investment portfolios. She is particularly experienced in helping families and their advisers translate complex objectives into practical, robust and well-governed structures.

Laura’s approach combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of the human dynamics that often sit behind private wealth. She is trusted by families and their advisers to deal with sensitive, complex and often highly personal matters, balancing sound fiduciary judgement, strong governance and commercial practicality with discretion, empathy and continuity.

Before joining Hawksford, Laura started her career at Ernst & Young LLP, where she qualified as an accountant, before spending nine years at Intertrust, formerly Elian, in Jersey.
