Assistant Manager, Corporate Secretarial

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Corporate Secretarial team in Singapore.

Location: Singapore

 Principal accountabilities:

  •  Be conversant with the full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties.

  • Lead our firm’s corporate secretarial practice.

  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of Singapore business entities that we administer on behalf of our clients 

  • Liaise with and advise clients on company formation, company statutory administration, work passes, business licenses, and related matters

  • Advise, prepare necessary documents, file with ACRA and other statutory bodies, and maintain statutory records on all matters related to incorporation, annual compliance, and ad-hoc change requests for client's companies

  • Liaise with statutory bodies, banks, and other third-party business partners, as required

  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior staff

  • Streamline all workflow processes within your department to ensure prompt and professional service

  • Maintain and keep current the database of all client companies within our software systems 

  • Coach and train 2 to 3 assistants / associates to enable them to carry out their roles effectively and efficiently.

  • Ensure prompt billing and be responsible for WIP

The type of people we are looking for:

  •  Diploma/Degree in relevant field/ICSA qualification or currently pursuing SAICSA course

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in corporate secretarial or law firms

  • Have experience in supervising and providing guidance to junior staff

  • Must possess strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Companies Act, procedures and guidelines

  • Meticulous, self-starter and willingness to learn

  • Must have strong and professional work ethics

  • Must be an excellent team player with strong inter-personal skills and friendly personality

  • Excellent client servicing skills and strong problem-solving skills

  • Good organizational & interpersonal skills

  • Able to work independently and work under tight deadlines 

  • Flexible and adaptable in working styles
