Trainee Administrator,
Group

The Trainee Administrator will support the Global Financial Operations team in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting across the Group. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who is eager to build strong analytical skills, gain exposure to group-wide operations, and contribute to continuous process improvement and technology transformation initiatives.

Principle Accountabilities


Financial Reporting:
  • Support the preparation of weekly and monthly KPI reporting across all jurisdictions.
  • Assist in data collection, validation, and analysis to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Help maintain dashboards and performance metrics used by senior leadership.
Technology & Workflow Support:
  • Contribute to the rollout and implementation of new financial workflows and systems.
  • Assist with testing, documenting, and embedding new technology solutions across the Group.
  • Provide first-line support for system issues or process queries within the FinOps team.
Integrations & Change Projects:
  • Support the integration of new offices and acquired businesses into the Group finance platform.
  • Assist with data migration, system onboarding, and process alignment activities.
Finance Administration & Data Management:
  • Carry out general finance administration tasks to support the global team.

  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of financial records.

  • Help manage shared inboxes, trackers, and recurring FinOps tasks.

 

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

  • Good working knowledge of Excel and an interest in developing advanced skills.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with teams across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Beneficial (but not required):

  • Experience working with financial systems or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Previous exposure to finance, accounting, or data analysis.
  • Interest in automation, new technology adoption, or process improvement.
