We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Corporate Services team as a Trainee Administrator. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in the corporate and financial services sector. You will work alongside experienced professionals, as part of a busy team, assisting with a range of client-related work and day-to-day administration.

Five years’ Jersey residency required for this role, as required by Control of Housing and Work (Jersey) Law 2012.
Principal accountabilities:
- Supporting the Corporate team with daily administrative tasks and client-related matters.
- Assisting with transactions across different asset types, including real estate and financial instruments.
- Preparing and maintaining client records and files to meet internal and regulatory standards.
- Assisting with company secretarial work, including preparing board packs and issuing notices.
- Compiling client due diligence packs for both new and existing clients.
- Ensuring company databases are kept accurate and up to date.
- Liaising with other departments to help deliver an efficient service to clients.
- Communicating with clients and external board members in a professional manner.
- Accurately recording time spent on tasks using the company’s time recording system.
- Contributing to the team’s efforts in meeting financial and service targets.
The type of person we are looking for:
- We’re looking for someone who is organised, dependable, and keen to learn. You don’t need to have experience in financial services, but you do need to show a willingness to develop and take on responsibility.
- You should also have:
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently.
- Willingness to study towards a relevant professional qualification.
- Careful and methodical approach to work.
