We are looking for a detail-oriented, client-focused Client Accountant, to join our Client Accounts – Corporate Team in Dubai. This department plays a key role in managing the accounting, tax, compliance, and company secretary obligations for our UAE client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing UAE engagements, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services, and maintaining strong communication with both clients and local partners. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in UAE accounting and tax matters, and who thrives in a high-performance, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Account Management:
    Oversee and manage end-to-end accounting, audit, and tax engagements for clients operating within the UAE, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure clients meet their statutory obligations in line with UAE laws, including VAT, corporate tax, ESR, UBO, AML, and other relevant frameworks as set by the FTA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Local Research & Advisory:
    Conduct thorough research on UAE-specific accounting, tax, and compliance requirements. Liaise with relevant government authorities (e.g. FTA, MOE, DED, DMCC, DIFC) and stay updated on legislative changes affecting clients' operations.
  • Team Coordination & Review:
    Support junior team members by reviewing their deliverables, providing guidance, and ensuring high-quality output that aligns with internal standards and client expectations.
  • Client Interaction:
    Act as a key point of contact for clients based in the UAE, attending meetings, providing regular updates, and addressing accounting and tax-related queries in a professional and timely manner.

 

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, audit (external/internal), or tax, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior capacity
  • Proven career stability, preferably with 3–5 years of continuous service at a single employer
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of UAE tax regulations, including VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR, and UBO requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles applicable in the UAE
  • Familiarity with working with UAE free zones (e.g. DMCC, DIFC, ADGM) and mainland regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Arabic language proficiency is a plus but not required

 

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Exposure to corporate secretarial services and UAE compliance
  • Multilingual skills (e.g. Chinese, German, Spanish, Arabic, Russian) are a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with a passion for client service
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural team environment
  • Must be based in Dubai.
