Statutory Administrator - Client Services Support

We require a person to provide a full range of statutory and company secretarial services to client facing teams ensuring compliance by the Hawksford Group and / or clients administered by Hawksford Group with its legal, regulatory and contractual obligations, whilst observing best practice.

Location: Jersey
Before you apply: Five years’ Jersey residency required for this role, as required by Control of Housing and Work (Jersey) Law 2012.

The type of person we are looking for:

We require a person to provide a full range of statutory and company secretarial services to client facing teams ensuring compliance by the Hawksford Group and / or clients administered by Hawksford Group with its legal, regulatory and contractual obligations, whilst observing best practice.

Principal accountability:

Governance
• Responsibility for the  maintenance of accurate statutory records for the Hawksford Group client base. 
• Provide secretarial related advice and support to client facing teams as required.

Regulatory
• Assist the Client Services Support team in identifying and meeting the Hawksford group’s regulatory obligations.
• Working knowledge of relevant jurisdictional regulatory obligations (i.e. the Jersey beneficial ownership regime and BVI filing requirements)

Minute Preparation/Other Recurring Corporate Actions
• Work within the team to ensure activities are done timely and efficiently, liaising with relevant teams and departments.
• Work in tandem with client teams to ensure  that statutory registers (members, directors, company secretary) are up to date and all necessary changes are  notified to the Company Registrar within the required time frames. .

Database/Statutory Books
• Ensure good quality, complete and up to date set of records for all companies in the Hawksford Group to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ad-hoc involvement with statutory/reporting projects.

Policies
• Awareness of policies and procedures required by law/regulation and /or agreed by the Hawksford Group board.
