You will be responsible for leading and directing a team of highly qualified professionals while working closely with the Managing Director to deliver both the department and overall company strategy.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the relationship management of a portfolio of trust and company structures, in particular those of a highly complex nature.
  • Assisting your team with complex transactions and solution driven resolutions.
  • Representation on a range of Client boards, both regulated and unregulated entities, providing entity direction and oversight in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Execute the responsibilities of a company director according to lawful and ethical standards.
  • To take accountability for the team’s revenue and costs and ensure budgeted financial metrics are set for the team.
  • Active participation in new business generation ensuring the growth of the business from both existing and potential clients.
  • Ensuring profitable delivery of work through effective cross business/department/team relationships and processes.
  • Maintaining/increasing the profitability of the existing client base and creating opportunities for new business.
  • Conduct/co-ordinate annual performance & development reviews for team members and ensure objectives are set in accordance with the Company’s stated objectives, the department’s objectives, Hawksford’s Values, and competencies framework.
  • Contributing to the development of the strategy and provide strategic direction/leadership within the business.
  • To ensure that the objectives of the Company, as agreed by the board, are fully, promptly, and properly carried out, applying good governance and clear strategic planning principles.

 

The type of person we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a management role overseeing a financial corporate services or administration function
  • ACCA qualification or equivalent required
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively cross all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent understanding of financial management principles
  • Significant stakeholder management experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and grow cross functional relationships
  • Results oriented individual – gets results that have a clear, positive impact on business performance
