Responsibilities

Cordelia is Hawksford’s general counsel, responsible for legal risk management across the Hawksford group of companies.  This includes insurance, corporate governance, business and commercial risk and contractual arrangements.

Taking responsibility for the legal and company secretarial function, Cordelia draws upon extensive experience gained advising numerous internal and external client structures in a variety of business areas; all strengthened by her legal and analytical skills

Cordelia is a solicitor of England and Wales; qualifying as a finance lawyer in 1999, she spent ten years in the city working for Thomas Cooper, a shipping firm, and Travers Smith, a leading corporate, financial and commercial law firm. She moved to Jersey in 2006 to work for a large Channel Islands firm before moving to Kleinwort Benson where she worked as legal counsel for four years.
