We spoke to one of our Corporate Administrators, Casey Newton to find out more about his life inside and outside of Hawksford.
The stereotypical dream job would be a professional football player but that quickly diminished when I couldn’t even make my school team. I always liked the idea of being a policeman/detective but on reflection, it would be slightly less interesting in Jersey and I value sleep too much to do night shifts.
I like keeping as active as I can over the weekend. I play for a local football team and regularly go to the gym. The remaining hours normally consist of revising for my next exam. (No I wasn’t told to say that)
I joined Hawksford as a school leaver and since the first day, everyone has been very supportive, friendly and helpful which has really helped me progress over the 4 years I've been here, whether that was my career development or external training.
This is quite a tricky question; I wouldn’t give myself any advice, experience and mistakes are a good way to learn.
I’m not a very travelled person, so I’m going to have to give a boring answer by sticking to my routes and staying in Jersey.
I would have to say never rained as I don’t own a waterproof jacket or a jacket with a hood.
