Senior Administrator, Fund Administration Support ,
To provide high-quality fund administration services across a portfolio of fund structures, supporting the Associate Director and wider Jersey Funds team in the delivery of client, investor, governance and transactional matters. The Senior Administrator is responsible for coordinating core administrative activities, maintaining accurate records and documentation, and ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with internal procedures, service standards and regulatory requirements. The role acts as a key day-to-day support within the team, contributing to service quality, operational consistency and the effective delivery of fund administration services, whilst supporting the ongoing development of the Mauritius Fund Administration Support function.

Summary:
The Senior Administrator is responsible for supporting the Associate Director and wider Jersey Funds team in the delivery of high-quality fund administration services across a portfolio of fund structures. The role involves coordinating day-to-day administration, preparing documentation for board and client matters, maintaining statutory and transactional records, and helping to ensure that deliverables are completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
The position requires strong organisational skills, sound technical knowledge, attention to detail and the confidence to manage routine matters independently while escalating issues appropriately. The role holder is expected to contribute to service excellence, support junior team members where appropriate, and help drive consistency, efficiency and strong client service across the function.
Principal Accountabilities:
Service Delivery & Portfolio Administration

Provide day-to-day administration of a portfolio of fund structures, ensuring key deadlines and client deliverables are met accurately and on time.

Support the Associate Director with board, client and transactional matters, including preparation of board packs, minutes, resolutions, investor notices and other fund documentation.

Support investor-related activities, including the preparation of investor communications, notices, information requests and other administration deliverables as required.

Maintain accurate statutory, corporate and client records and ensure that all documentation is properly filed and updated in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Act as a day-to-day point of contact for Jersey colleagues, dealing with matters promptly and escalating issues to the Associate Director where appropriate.

Coordinate and review routine administrative outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency before submission for final review or release.

Assist with cash, transaction and reporting processes by preparing supporting documentation, monitoring progress and liaising with internal teams to ensure timely completion.

Monitor action points, workflow priorities and outstanding items across the portfolio, helping the Associate Director maintain oversight of key matters and deadlines.

Ensure that work is carried out in line with service level expectations, control frameworks, risk management requirements and applicable Jersey regulatory obligations.
Team Support & Capability Development

Provide guidance and informal support to junior team members, helping to build technical knowledge, consistency and confidence in delivery.

Share knowledge, best practice and lessons learned across the team to promote consistent service delivery and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement & Shared Services Development

Identify opportunities to improve processes, templates and ways of working, supporting the implementation of best practice and the ongoing development of efficient offshore support for the Jersey Funds business.

Assist with the onboarding and transition of new structures or workstreams into Mauritius, ensuring processes are understood, documented and embedded effectively.

Maintain accurate time recording, management information and other reporting inputs as required by the Associate Director or management team.

Keep up to date with relevant regulatory, procedural and client-specific developments affecting the structures under administration.

Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of administration processes, controls and documentation standards to support service quality, consistency and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.

Professional qualification (or working towards a professional qualification) such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CGI/ICSA or equivalent would be advantageous.

Minimum 5 years' relevant experience within fund administration, corporate administration, fiduciary services or financial services.

Good understanding of fund structures, governance and administration processes.

Experience working with offshore financial centres such as Jersey, Luxembourg, Cayman or similar jurisdictions would be advantageous.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
