The CDD Senior Administrator is responsible for ensuring that all Customer Due Diligence (CDD) files are completed in accordance with applicable regulatory, legal, and internal compliance requirements. The role supports the effective delivery of the CDD framework by ensuring high-quality client onboarding, maintaining robust AML/KYC standards, and mitigating regulatory risk.The role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing CDD activities to ensure the efficient and timely completion of client onboarding while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, operational excellence, and client service.The successful candidate will have extensive experience in onboarding a broad range of client structures, including companies, trusts, partnerships, and funds, within a company, trust, or fund administration environment. A strong working knowledge of AML legislation, Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements, Know Your Customer (KYC) principles, and applicable regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions is essential.Minimum 3 years’ experience.

Summary:

The Senior CDD Administrator is an experienced professional responsible for providing specialist expertise in Customer Due Diligence (CDD), KYC, and client onboarding. The role ensures the accurate and timely completion of complex CDD activities while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and service standards.

The successful candidate applies sound judgement to assess client due diligence requirements, resolve complex onboarding matters, identify process improvement opportunities, and support the consistent delivery of high-quality client service. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the Senior CDD Administrator contributes to the effectiveness of the CDD function by coordinating priorities, sharing technical knowledge, and supporting the development of less experienced team members where appropriate.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • The individual will have extensive experience in Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and a strong understanding of AML and Beneficial Ownership (BO) requirements. Provides day-to-day coordination and oversight of CDD activities, supports the implementation and continuous improvement of CDD policies, procedures, and processes, and offers technical guidance and mentoring to team members to ensure consistent application of regulatory requirements, operational best practices, and high-quality client service.

  • The individual will have excellent relationship management skills and a track record in working across different service lines. 

  • The individual will manage matters through a successful conclusion, be well organised and can deliver and work under pressure.

  • The candidate should also be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure. 

  • The candidate will have excellent relationship management skills, be adaptable, and have a can-do attitude when looking at new business coupled with a commercial approach to risk

  • The individual must be able to provide regular reports, trackers, and dashboards to the Reporting manager on task completion and key success metrics. 

  • The individual must be able to assist team members on more complex tasks and provide guidance regarding pending tasks and assist in liaising with team members to resolve pending matters.

  • Ensuring clear and effective interaction between teams, departments, and stakeholders. Must be comfortable speaking up, escalating concerns and able to provide an independent view and voice. 

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all work hours in the company’s time tracking system, with clear and concise narratives.

  • Meet financial objectives set by management.

  • Adhere to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in daily operations.

  • Foster a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and operational excellence. 

  • Actively contribute to enhancing team efficiency and the continuous development of processes.
