Responsibilities

As a director in the Governance, Risk and Compliance team, Heather’s role will primarily focus on Group Enterprise Risk Management framework, which includes a key role in the operation of the Risk Committee, and also management of the Group’s policy and procedure framework.

Heather joined from Sanne Group, where she was Risk Director for 6 years. Prior to that, Heather was a director in funds, having started out in real estate, where she gained extensive experience in client administration and accounting. Her career started in audit and assurance at Ernst & Young in Jersey, where she qualified with ICAEW before undertaking a secondment to the Geneva office.

Notable achievements

Developed and implemented an Enterprise Risk Management framework to a FTSE 250 listed company and continued as part of the Risk Team responsible for further developing and enhancing the framework and reporting to the Risk Committee of the listed company.

Managed project to achieve ISAE 3402 accreditation, which included assessing and implementing relevant internal controls and co-ordinating the ISAE 3402 report.
