‘Thrive’ is our dedicated learning management system, housing more than 500 relevant and engaging eLearning courses, videos and podcasts from a range of internal sources and external providers. This system allows our people to take a flexible, self-led approach to their own development; learning what they want, at a time that suits them.
At Hawksford, we place equal value on professional technical development and developing personal skills and behaviours. We provide funding and support for professional qualifications and maintain memberships to professional bodies, as well as delivering a varied curriculum of CPD learning via our intermediaries. We also offer in-house training from experts on topics such as confident communication, presentation skills and people management.
We embrace a collaborative coaching culture, where our people are supported on their development journey. All employees are encouraged to have regular one-to-one conversations with their managers, providing a space to openly discuss career aspirations and their development needs. Subject matter experts are urged to share their knowledge with others and are supported in doing so. We also have a dedicated People Development Manager, who is always on hand to offer advice on personal development.
