We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Corporate Services team as a Junior Accountant. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is part-qualified or currently studying towards ACCA, and looking to build a career in the corporate and financial services sector. Working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and fast-paced environment, you will assist with a wide range of client accounting and tax-related tasks, gaining valuable technical and client service experience.

Principal accountabilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders and limited companies accurately and on schedule
- Assist in preparing management accounts with support
- Support the preparation and submission of self-assessment, corporation tax, VAT, and other tax returns
- Perform bookkeeping and bank reconciliations using accounting software
- Ensure client compliance with HMRC and Companies House filing requirements
- Draft and review client communications and supporting documents
- Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries professionally
- Maintain organized and up-to-date client records and files
- Record time accurately with clear, professional descriptions
- Take ownership of smaller tasks and gradually manage parts of client assignments
- Collaborate effectively with senior team members and provide necessary support
- Work towards ACCA qualification, applying knowledge to daily tasks and seeking feedback
What are we looking for in you?
- Prior experience in a similar-level role is preferred, but not essential
- Currently studying towards ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a proactive willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Organised, dependable, and eager to take on responsibility and grow within the role
- A positive attitude toward development, with or without prior financial services experience
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to live and work in London is essential.
