Private Client
To assist with delivering the strategic plans for the Private Client department by securing and deploying the resources necessary to meet the current and future needs of the department. To provide a high quality and comprehensive company and trust administration service.

Principle Accountabilities
Client Service
- Responsibility for the high-level oversight of the administration of a portfolio of trust and company structures, in particular those of a highly complex nature.
- Ensuring that the quality of the service given to all clients is excellent and in accordance with agreed and expected professional standards.
- Oversee the incoming and outgoing workflow of the section, with a view to ensuring prompt, effective and proactive responses to client needs.
- Working with your team to develop strong client relationships.
- Attend meetings with clients both locally and in other locations as required.
- Liaise with clients, agencies and professional advisors as appropriate.
- Provide advice and guidance as required to staff, ensuring they are focused on client needs and quality administration, including training, coaching and development as necessary.
- Assisting your team with complex transactions and solution driven resolutions.
- Make decisions and manage client and business affairs in the absence of Directors.
- Implement policy changes in accordance with the company’s procedures manual in order to meet the strategic objectives of the business
- Ensure the performance of the team’s investment portfolios are monitored in accordance with company procedures.
- Deliver on all risk review targets for your team’s portfolio.
Client Board Representation
- Representation on a range of unregulated client boards providing entity direction and oversight.
- Execute the responsibilities of a company director according to lawful and ethical standards.
Financial
- Work with Directors to implement business plans in order to achieve the department’s stated objectives.
- Assist in monitoring your team’s revenue and costs in line with budget.
- To meet all budgeted financial metrics set for your team.
- Provide input on budgets, manpower planning and productivity as required.
- Assist in Implementing robust financial discipline with the teams.
- Collate own data to support achievement of Key Performance Indicators.
New Business
- Active participation in new business generation ensuring the growth of the business from both existing and potential clients.
- Develop client and intermediary relationships including seeking opportunities for cross-selling Hawksford’s products and services.
- Evaluate, manage and deliver new key accounts.
- Initiate and support marketing initiatives to help drive revenue.
- Ensure profitable delivery of work through effective cross business/department/team relationships and processes.
- Maintain/increase the profitability of the existing client base and creating opportunities for new business.
- Develop and promote profitable new service lines and associated standards.
- All potential new business to be reviewed within 48 hours of receipt.
- Ensure that new business is taken on in accordance with Hawksford’s take-on procedures
Leadership
- Contributing to the development of the strategy and provide strategic direction/leadership within the business.
- To ensure that the objectives of the Company, as agreed by the board, are fully, promptly and properly carried out, applying good governance and clear strategic planning principles.
- Participate in various business projects or volunteer members of your team as required and appropriate.
- Deliver policy changes required to meet the strategic objectives of the business.
- Such other duties as the management may at times reasonably require.
- Work with your team to develop strong interpersonal skills with all stakeholders.
- Identify barriers to service and be an ambassador for change.
- Inspire staff through your positivity, effectiveness and results.
