Client Profile and Industry

  • Our client, Genomica, is a biotech company with more than 25 years of experience within the industry and has become a world leader in molecular diagnostics and genetic identification.

Client's Objective

  • Genomica is a multinational company headquartered in Spain and was looking for a service provider that could assist with professional financial reporting, taxation support, and payroll preparation assistance.

Our Solution

  • It was during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in China when we started to work with Genomica. At that time, the company was facing a series of challenges ranging from, staff working remotely while ensuring continuity of operations, to several administrative issues. With the assistance of our experienced professionals, we were able to guide Genomica through this period by working closely with their local staff as well as liaising with the global finance department located in Spain.
  • As a result of doing such an excellent job during this difficult period, Genomica then decided to delegate all their taxation and accounting matters to us here at Hawksford along with providing special assistance to its foreign employees when needed, such as during the yearly IIT reconciliation filing.
  • Hawksford has a dedicated team of professionals able to communicate with Genomica's staff in their native languages of Spanish, English, and Mandarin Chinese.
