Roles at this level work within established processes and procedures, with day to day supervision and clear guidance to deliver on all HR administration. All administration will be performing tasks within specific timeframes and responding to queries to ensure an efficient and effective service to the business. You will predominately support the Senior Advisor, however, you will be able to support the wider Jersey People team with activities or specific workstreams to build your knowledge and understanding of the People Team Function. 


Principal accountabilities:

• Responsibility for dealing with the day-to-day HR queries and ensuring all queries are responded to.  
•    Maintain and monitor the sickness records. Deal with the administration of medical certificates. 
•    Prepare all offer letters and contracts and assist with any other letters and correspondence.
•    Responsible for all the administration for all new starters and leavers, ensuring all induction arrangements are in place and all exit interviews are scheduled. 
•    Assist with the Senior Advisor with the administration of work experience/students. You will also be required to engage with any student fairs or school visits. 
•    Maintain staff data on the Global HR system and ensure all data is input correctly.
•    Assist with sourcing and costing staff incentives and once approved arrange directly with provider.  Organise and send out calendar invites to staff and dealing with the administration thereof. 
•    Responsible for keeping employee records up to date including electronic filing in SharePoint.  
•    Provide payroll support to the Senior Advisor by ensuring all information on a monthly basis is updated on Connect, with all the relevant back up being sent to payroll. This also includes running the payroll reports for Jersey for the Senior Advisor to review. 
•    Responsible for organising and promoting the Values Reward scheme with the business, ensuring all meetings are organised and certificates are provided.
•    Support the Senior Advisor with the screening process for both Jersey and London and make sure that all staff have met the required screening requirement in line with the onboarding process.  
•    Assist the Senior Advisor with exploring new and creative ways of attracting talent to the business. 
•    Support the team with any global initiatives or projects.
